PROJECT

Westhampton Beach Village Hall

The new combined village hall and police office represents a major investment in both community life and public safety, thoughtfully designed to serve multiple civic functions under one roof. The building achieved LEED Gold certification, reflecting its strong commitment to sustainability through energy-efficient systems, high-performance building materials, improved indoor air quality, and responsible water use. By integrating shared spaces and infrastructure, the project reduces its overall environmental footprint while lowering long-term operating costs. The result is a modern, welcoming facility that supports community gatherings and essential police services, while demonstrating environmental stewardship and forward-thinking design for the village.

The Mayor of Westhampton Beach, reflecting a common refrain among municipal officials who turned to Sandpebble for expertise overseeing public works projects, said in a recent interview, “Sandpebble is out of sight.” Robert Strebel added that the company, which acts in place of a general contractor – but does not take a percentage of contracts costs as a fee, as would the general contractor – “scrutinized every bill” that contractors submitted to the Village. “We pay nobody until they look at it.”

“I cannot say enough good about them. You cannot put up a public project and not have Sandpebble.”
