The Bridge

Construction of a new state of the art 12,000 square foot Clubhouse with full basement and Pro-Shop plus extensive site improvements. This project involved the construction of a new clubhouse with extensive fine detailing. Because of the 360-degree vistas from one of the highest points on the East End, the building did not have a “back of house” side for the location of a service entry. To solve this problem, the curved retaining wall provides access to a tunnel entry on the approach side of the building. The project involved extensive glazing which, because of the high winds and roof shape, had to allow for slight uplift under certain conditions. Over the years, The Bridge Golf Club has evolved into more than just a golf course—it is a destination that embodies a deep appreciation for the traditions of the game, combined with a commitment to environmental sustainability and community engagement.
