PROJECT
Noyac Golf Club
Noyac Golf Club was founded in 1963 and originally designed by William Mitchell. Located in Sag Harbor, NY, the golf course sits on 144 acres of undulating parkland near Noyac Bay. Sandpebble managed new construction of a golf clubhouse with a footprint of about 5,500 sqft with full basement and associated sitework. This project involved the construction of a new wood framed golf clubhouse with extensive interior and exterior finish carpentry detailing. Dale Stonemetz, currently one of our Senior Project Managers, has had many years of rough and finished carpentry as well as cabinet making experience, and was instrumental in the high quality of the finished work on the project.
Playing host to a number of local and regional events, competitors consistently remark on the difficulty of the golf course. In an area with some of the world’s greatest golfing institutions, Noyac was a “hidden gem” for many years before gaining more notoriety recently for its extensive renovation work. The course also includes a practice putting green, short game area, driving range and a state of the art indoor teaching facility.
