The Mastics Moriches Shirley Public Libraries Project involved the comprehensive renovation and transformation of three existing buildings into unified, modern community hubs. Each building was redesigned to support contemporary library services, including expanded reading and research areas, flexible collaboration zones, and fully equipped makerspaces for digital fabrication, technology learning, and creative workshops. Upgrades included structural improvements, accessibility enhancements, energy-efficient systems, and modern interior finishes. The result is a revitalized multi-building library system that provides inclusive public access to knowledge, technology, and creative resources.
