First detailed custom home

A 1,500 sq. ft. custom home producing a modest $400 profit

1976

Firm grows in scope

Now 17 projects and approximately 20 employees

1979

Origin story milestone

A chance meeting with Diane McCarron on the New London Ferry becomes part of company history

1982

First major commercial contract

Bank of the Hamptons (now M&T Bank) headquarters, Southampton

1985

Splish Splash—brand new, first on Long Island Waterpark

Intensive 7-day-a-week project from fall to Memorial Day

1990–1991

First non-carpentry hire

Steve Napoli joins at 94 Mill Hill Lane

First public works project

Southampton Village Police Department headquarters

Southampton office opens

Sandpebble establishes a full-time local presence
